Offering a basic set of tools to adjust lighting, touch-up and remove blemishes and defects in addition to an array of filters and effects to personalize, stylize and transform captured photos,. Xtreme Photo Designer might sit at the back of the class among image editing software programs, but it does have a few features that do warrant some attention, namely its perspective tools and effects, which are surprisingly deft despite their being in a freeware program.

Though its interface lacks polish and the quality of many of its tools and features leaves a lot to be desired, with Magix Xtreme Photo Designer, users still get much, much more than they pay for, which just so happens to be nothing. This fact might be reason enough to use Magix Xtreme Photo Designer. Then again, its feature and toolsets are limited and, with the exception of its fairly-decent perspective correction tools, even stodgier programs that may or may not have been discontinued to deliver better results. Really, Magix Xtreme Photo Designer might be better thought of as a perspective correction application, as opposed to a full image editing software program.
