We have nothing against photo editing software. Really. But sometimes, in quiet moments, we start to think about what it would be like if we didn't have our hard drives full of software - how fast our computers would be if we could work and store in the cloud. So when we started to hear about online image editing sites, it was enough to get us interested. When we
looked at Picnik, it was enough to pull us in.
There are plenty of programs out there to edit your images for free online.
We went through them all and Picnik came out on top, so no, this isn't a shameless plug for the service. It's a genuinely good offering. We especially liked that it can seamlessly integrate with photo sharing sites like Facebook, Flickr and Photobucket. Overall, we thought the interface was loose and relaxed - it made editing a simple experience. A far cry from some of the photo editing software we've used.
Other than that we've got a lot of
image editing sites (almost all of which have a "p" or an "x" in their name ... apparently it's a requirement). So go check it out and see which one will work best for you. Then, as always, keep up on the latest tech news with these
